Nnaylime left a comment to the wigs post that I responded to way back then, but when I was sitting at my desk today staring out of the window, it occurred to me that I am not done with the question she brought up about the how/why of that character's death, both in terms of what fandom thinks about it, and what would make a good ending for the story. So I will have to go dig up some character death fanfic.

It has also been pointed out to me at several junctures that part of the reason smut is fun is that it is hot. No argument from me on that one. However, smut is even hotter if you can tie it to an argument and make it plead for - oh, well, you know. We've been there. But yes. Hotness is good ;) Actually, I think the weird thing about so much BSG-related raunch is that it is not hot. Possibly this is too self-relevatory, and probably it is at this point fairly obvious, but I really can't muster much enthusiasm for Lee/Kara raunch. Or Athena-related raunch. Ditto Cylon raunch. Hm. Cylon Raunch . . . sounds like a western-themed PWP database. You know, with hats, and mechanical bison.

Finally, I think there is a BSG/Law and Order crossover that will soon require my attention.

Oh, and that thing about The Wire. Drat. I was hoping for better things from S5. But, does Pearlman continue to be weirdly, weirdly cute? (This thing that I have for that character disturbs me, a little). Does Daniels continue to have a beautiful, beautiful ass? If so, there may be compensations. I wait, and curse Netflix for their sloth.
